Minimum Qualifications:
Required:
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• AND Two years’ customer service, cash handling, collections or bookkeeping experience.
• Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s license.
Preferred:
• Bilingual speaking and writing skills.
Position Overview:
Under basic supervision, performs customer service functions for clients of the Water Utility Services Department (WUSD). Responsible for processing monetary transactions on new customer accounts, service requests and service charges. Maintains records of payment, accounts with declined/returned payments and attempts to collect payments.
