Primary Purpose:

To create, coordinate and execute clearly defined digital marketing solutions to increase brand equity and customer engagement and program usage through video production and multimedia management. This position will provide solutions that are user-focused, visually appealing and compelling. The multimedia & content manager will utilize emerging technologies to develop consistent, effective, professional communication messages.

Core Job Functions:  

  • Plan, produce, manage and disseminate videography through script writing, storyboarding, interviewing, editing, photography, motion graphic, script writing, storyboarding, filming and graphic design for various platforms
  • Manage and/or collaborate with the team to manage external and internal websites through content management system and Google Sites, (quality control, modifying and adapting with technology changes and needs)
  • Build and execute social email strategy, providing content ideas and collaborating with team members to guide improvement based on analytics and campaigns
  • Prepare creative content for multimedia platforms (social media, email campaigns, digital advertising, presentations)
  • Serve as a subject expert and trainer for effective marketing strategies for internal staff by providing individualized support and presentations
  • Support in building and maintaining records of work, analytics for measurement and feedback
  • Serve as backup for the director and/or provide direction and support to team members

Technical & Professional Requirements:

  • Proficient in audio and video production and still photography
  • Video planning, script writing and storyboarding skills
  • Familiarity with video systems, cameras, switchers, routers, and lighting
  • Ability to conduct interviews with staff and external customers
  • Ensure content uploaded to Center platforms meets ADA requirements and best practices
  • Knowledge of audio systems and mixing equipment
  • Proficient in graphic design and Adobe software, such as Lightroom, Premiere, AfterEffects, FinalCut, etc.
  • Organize video and photo repository and resources
  • Experience with streaming events and/or podcasts is a plus
  • Ability to manage and meet deadlines
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills in the implementation of communications and marketing initiatives and projects
  • Consistently maintain a positive attitude, dependability, enthusiasm and professional communication with internal and external clients
  • Understands and respects differing points of view with patience and empathy
  • Practice active listening and has a solution-focused, service-delivery mindset, ability to take feedback and direction in a professional manner
  • Facilitate collaborative working relationships and communicates with individuals, teams and customers from various backgrounds and experiences
  • Deadline-oriented and comfortable working at times with short deadlines
  • Take ownership and accountability for the quality of content and deliverables with minimal supervision

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Degree in Communications, Digital Marketing, Visual or Graphic Design, or a related field of study; Master’s preferred
  • Five+ years of relevant experience (school communications a plus)
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Adobe CS Software, such as Premiere, Lightroom & FinalCut
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, ability to track and report on multiple jobs in an organized manner
  • Ability and desire to contribute to the team by providing leadership, support and completing assignments on deadline
  • Strategic, attention to detail, possess creativity and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to create and implement processes and procedures
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups
  • Experience using Canva and a project management system is a plus

Working Environment: 

  • Open-concept, collaborative workspaces, occasional evening or weekend events
