GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The position will prepare students for further education, both in golf and academics. The coaching role will help players with their golf swing and course management. The Advisory role will provide Educational Partnerships students the advice and support they need to reach their educational and career goals. This position receives general direction from the Director of Athletics and Director of Educational Partnerships, and exercises no supervision. NOTE: This is a security sensitive position and an appropriate background investigation will be made on applicants being strongly considered for this position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: More than one year of collegiate golf coaching experience.
Special Requirement: Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license. Must be insurable and maintain insurability under the College’s automobile insurance policy.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Sedentary-Desk work; occasional field trips e.g. for college or program activities. Minimal Hazard/Exposure-Standard office setting. At least minimal environmental controls are in place to assure health and comfort.
BENEFITS:
Health Insurance, retirement plan, sick leave, holidays. Eligible employees and dependents may take college courses tuition free. Participation in Medicare Part A, but not Social Security (FICA).
