Minimum Qualifications:Required:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• AND one year of Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant maintenance or electrical experience.
• A Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Certifications:
• A journeyman electrician certification, experience in electrical controls, or SCADA.
• According to the needs of the City, additional training and certifications may be required within 2.5 years.
Position Overview:
Under basic supervision, leads a crew of Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators to perform a combination of basic and semi-skilled work in the maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP) for the Water Utility Services Department (WUSD).
