THE CITY OF WACO SEEKS:
The ideal candidate for this position will be an effective communicator, have the knowledge and be able to interpret safety codes, and may be required to respond after hours in the event of a departmental or City-wide emergency. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Required:
• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of customer service or construction experience.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
• State Code Enforcement Officer License is required within one year of hire.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Under basic supervision, enforces health and safety ordinances for the City; patrols City to identify and investigate violations; notifies offenders, maintains case files and resolves complaints.
