MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Required:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Customer Service experience is required.

Preferred:
• Experience working with children (strongly preferred)
• Public library experience
• Some college experience

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Provide direct assistance to children and families regarding the use of library materials, equipment, and services.
• Sorts and shelves library material in proper order in the Children’s Department.
• Provide reference and readers’ advisory assistance to children and families.
• Assist Librarians in the preparation and execution of children’s programs, including outreach.
• Experience working with children is required.
• Public Library experience strongly preferred.
