THE CITY OF WACO SEEKS:
A dependable and punctual individual who can communicate effectively verbally and in writing is the ideal candidate for this customer-facing position.MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
Required:
• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of customer service experience in a professional office setting
• Ability to obtain notary public upon hire
Preferred:
• A valid Texas Driver’s License
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Under basic supervision, provides customer services for internal and external customers.
DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
• Assists internal and external customers with various Development Services Department permit issues; performs duties within the scope of authority and training and in compliance with City policies.
• Responds to permit and inspection questions from customers; maintain account records and process payments and technical documents.
• Supports the relationship between the City of Waco and the general public by demonstrating courteous and professional behavior when interacting with contractors, citizens, visitors and City staff; maintains confidentiality of work-related issues and City information.
• Performs other related and assigned duties as required.
