MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• AND seven years’ experience in engineering design, project management, and civil engineering, preferably in the public sector.
• OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Equivalency: Master’s Degree in Engineering AND five years’ work experience in engineering design, project management, and civil engineering, preferably within the public sector.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
• Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License.
POSITION DISCRIPTION:
Under limited supervision, manages the Utilities Capital Projects Division through effective planning, staff management and resource allocation; assures the effective completion of Engineering/CIP projects and compliance with state and federal regulations and City policies and goals.
