THE CITY OF WACO SEEKS:
A talented individual to assist in ensuring that the Wastewater Plant operates effectively by performing daily observations, cleanings, and maintenance on various equipment and process-controlled systems within the Wastewater division.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Required:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License
Preferred:
• One year of Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) maintenance experience.
• Certifications in pump and motor repair, electrical troubleshooting and repairs, SCADA and controls repair, and maintenance of associated equipment.
• According to the needs of the City, additional training and certifications may be required within 2.5 years.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Under basic supervision, performs a combination of basic and semi-skilled work in the maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP) for the Water Utility Services Department (WUSD).
