Our organization is home to the largest school age child care provider in Williamson County as well as health and fitness programs that improve the quality of life for over 45,000 members ranging from preschool through senior citizen.

We’re Hiring! Join our team at the Greater Waco YMCA! YMCA Lifeguards must maintain a safe and neat pool environment for all aquatics participants. Follow and enforce all pool/facility rules and regulations. Be able to lead others and communicate effectively with people of all ages, individually or in groups. Part-time and year round positions available. Salary Range of $11 – $13 an hour plus a $250 Sign on Bonus for new staff!

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Applicants will be required to pass reference checks, a criminal history background check, sex offender check, and pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must demonstrate swimming ability and be able to commit to full week of training.

Certifications Required:

  • YMCA or ARC Lifeguard Training
  • CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
  • First Aid Oxygen Administration
