Tack On – Box Spring

This position is responsible for assembling box springs in accordance with the published schedule. Box spring associates use knowledge and expertise to ensure work is performed in an effective, efficient, and safe manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.

Read and interpret daily schedules by identifying pre-assembled frames. spring units and organize materials, Responsible for maintaining quality service and producing a quality product through close attention to detail in accordance with product specifications and delivery requirements. utilize bale press if specified spring units are unavailable. Assemble materials by attaching spring units to frame assembly in accordance with published schedule. Remove the assembled unit from the table appropriately without damaging and place on the appropriate conveyor and/or cart. Perform duties safely and maintains a clean and safe work environment in compliance with established policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
